Some events leave an impression. Others leave a feeling.

The Rise Fashion In Bloom, Spring Edition '26 was one of those rare evenings that managed to do both.

Hosted within the stunning atmosphere of the Distillery of Modern Art, this year's spring showcase brought together fashion, art, culture, and community for an unforgettable celebration of creativity in full bloom. From the moment guests arrived, there was an undeniable energy in the room—a collective appreciation for design, storytelling, and the power of fashion to connect people from all walks of life.

Six visionary designers transformed the runway into a living canvas, each presenting collections that reflected individuality, craftsmanship, and artistic expression. Every look that graced the stage reminded attendees that fashion is never just about clothing; it is a reflection of culture, identity, and the stories we carry.

But beyond the runway, it was the people who made the evening truly extraordinary.

Among the distinguished guests was Eva Marcille, whose presence brought an added touch of elegance to an already remarkable event. Acclaimed costume designer Raiyonda Vereen was in attendance, along with talented cast members from Beyond the Gates. Media, arts, and community leaders gathered throughout the venue, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with conversation, collaboration, and inspiration.

Also in attendance were Lakeisa Rucker, Chief Editor of Head2Toe Magazine, and David Manuel of Fulton County Arts, both champions of creative expression and cultural advancement within the Atlanta community.

Guiding the evening with grace, charisma, and professionalism was host Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds, whose presence helped create an experience that felt both elevated and welcoming.

What made Fashion In Bloom especially memorable was the sense of connection woven throughout the evening. Designers, artists, entrepreneurs, creatives, and supporters came together not simply to watch a show, but to celebrate the creative spirit that continues to shape Atlanta's cultural landscape.

At IMARO Magazine, we believe fashion thrives at the intersection of artistry, community, and purpose. The Rise Fashion In Bloom embodied all three.

As the final looks made their way down the runway and conversations continued long after the show ended, one thing became clear:

The bloom was real.

And so was the room.
